Ganesh is the first deity that I connected to and with each new lesson love more and more.  The explanation below is great.  Jai Ganesh! ganapatayei: Obstacles: The thing about Sri Ganesh is that he not only removes obstacles—but he places them too.  He makes you think (buddhi) and forces you to overcome these obtrusions. When you have succeeded—you will become stronger spiritually, emotionally and physically. Your worries—they are divine building blocks.Even obstacles are God.   Om Gam.
